With the addition of a few Apple Airports you could soon be streaming music to rooms all around your home and using your iphone or iPod Touch to control it wirelessly form anywhere within your Wi-Fi range – see  whole house Audio Touchscreen setup on a Budget.  Although the video shows a Mac the remote controls iTunes on Windows in just the same way too.
